Website Hyperlinks (NEW)

Home Page

As we are basing our website on The Inbetweeners', I felt it was conventional to create a hyperlink to a video as they done, as well other E4 sitcoms. Therefore I have created a small caption presenting our cast interview video with language used by a younger audience. I felt that this then created a less formal and fun way to inform our audience of a new video.

After looking at both of these captions, I also feel it would be conventional to E4 to present a photo with the caption such as "Funny Shizzle". I feel this will then create more of a light hearted and fun atmosphere for the audience as both colour of purple and green suggest a sense of having fun. I will use Photoshop to achieve this as it will allow me to allow up text and an image together in an eye catching and fun form.

Here I have inserted the page URL to my home page

As you can see the hyperlink has been created on the words "What our cast video now!" so our audience can now click on the link to take them to the page with the video on it.

Here the link has taken our audience to the video page where they can watch
the cast video.

Character Page

After looking at the way The Inbetweeners Website presents their character pages, we decided that it would be conventional to have a further link to more character information when clicked on by the audience. This involves a brief introduction to the characters, and then clicking on "read more" to bring up a further page with more information on such as their personal life. We have chosen to follow by this convention as we feel it allows for the audience to learn more about the characters in a fun yet informative way.

Here I have inserted the pale URL to the character website under the "read more"

As you can see the hyperlink has been created on the words "Read More.." so our audience can now click on the link to take them to the page with more character information on.

Here the link has taken the audience to the "Emily" page with further information on her character.
