Website Character Page -Photo editing Printscreens (NEW)

After looking into the design and layout of the Inbetweeners website, I decided to create the same Pop Art style photos of the characters. I felt it was quite conventional to do this as The Inbetweeners has the same demographic as our programme and we are therefore basing our website on theirs.

Here are a few examples on the photo editing for our website

The Character of Robert

Original Image

Here I have increased the brightness and contrast in the image as well as decreasing the shadows to create a brighter image with a harsher colour spectrum. I then also added a Black and White effect along with changing the Saturation to create more of blue image.

The Character of Jess

Original Image

Here I have also increased the Brightness and Contrast to create a more contrasting and Pop Art Style image. However, I did not add a Black and White effect to this image as I wanted all of the character photos to be different, as on The Inbetweeners website. Instead, I increased the Colour Temperature and added a Tint to create more colour in the image.

  2. Now you can use another great app for such photo editing. That is LightX. It is one of the upcoming photo editor apps. It had rousing success on iOS. There are quite a few decent features as well. It has a background changer tool, color splash effects, and a range of slider tools like color balance, levels, and curve. You can even merge photos together. There are also blur features, photo collages, shape manipulation, and stickers. It’s still in beta. That means there are bugs.

  3. Thanks for this demonstration about photo editing. No doubt Adobe Photoshop gives this opportunity to edit and resize the images with a desired aspect. I was successful just after following your tutorial. Keep up the good work.
