Summary of Secondary Existing Product Research

After researching into what is good and bad to put on a webpage, I have learnt how you can make a webpage look effective with the simplest of elements and that all the "fancy stuff" will make the website look less effective. This has helped strongly within my research as I now know what to include when creating my own webpage, as it will now hopefully be more successful.

As part of Charley's Existing Product Research, she has research into the narratives, stereotypes and ideologies of Situation Comedies using text books. This research has helped in giving me and my group an insight in to what codes and conventions are needed to present a "sitcom" style genre.
